Bohemian Rhapsody, Number 1. Again

As a part of Radio 1's 40th Birthday a couple of weeks ago, the Chart Show counted down the most played records in the station's history. Number one? Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
Roger Taylor was interviewed and announced that he and Brian May are recording a new Queen album which is clearly very exciting. Apart from the fact that Paul Rogers will be singing on it, like the glorified pub-singer he is, no doubt. Why? Why? Why?
Never mind, the fact that this opus can stand astride yet another chart is worth saluting and worth an excuse to watch the pioneering video one more time.

The Radio 1 Clock

It's Radio 1's 40th Birthday today. As a part of the Established 1967 celebrations I've spent the past six weeks creating the Radio 1 Clock.

In essence, the Clock uses images to tell the time, instead of just numbers. Initially using Radio 1 images to launch it, listeners - or to date, interwebbers - are encouraged to upload their own photos to be a part of the Clock. The plan is to have a widget here at sometime in the future so that you can see the Clock in action. That's when it really comes to life. With the potential for a screen saver, desktop, you know... But until then, I can only display a picture of it and hope that's enough to prompt you to link to it by clicking here.
